Yoga Therapy involves guiding our clients towards optimal health and wellness using yogic principles and techniques. Our physical, mental and emotional bodies are intricately linked. In this training, you will learn how to practically apply a combination of pranayama, meditation, restorative postures, relaxation and essential oils to create desired healing outcomes. We will practice asana with different propping options designed to reduce sympathetic (fight or flight) nervous system activity, increase parasympathetic (rest and digest) nervous system activity, and boost the immune system.
These training hours count towards all of the following credentials:
· 100-hour YogaFit for Warriors certificate
· 500-hour RYT option
· 800-hour professional Yoga Therapist
