In Therapy III, we have the unique opportunity to holistically apply what we have previously discussed in Therapy I & II, and begin to create a therapeutic model for our clients based on a living understanding of traditional yoga therapy (yoga chikitsa) and current healthcare practices. Traditional Therapeutic Yoga can overlap and compliment Western disciplines of physical therapy, psychotherapy, medicine and ministry. Therapy III will provide an understanding of traditional yoga therapy, a practical module to begin working with clients one-on-one, and how to design a dynamic network of healthcare practitioners that we can work with to provide an all-encompassing system of therapeutic care that educates and empowers all of us, so that we can all be responsible for our own health and well-being.
