The art of Thai yoga therapy combines acupressure, gentle rhythmic massage, deep stretching, and gentle twisting. Thai yoga therapy is a healing art that combines massage and yoga asana with an emphasis on a meditation practice. The purpose of this practice is “loving kindness.” The movements and practice of Thai yoga therapy are a valuable compliment for yoga teachers.
The One Day Workshop will introduce the participant to the artful practice of Thai Yoga Therapy, covering touch techniques, body positions, assisted yoga postures and working energy lines.  The participant will be able to improve their "hands on" technique for their class adjustments, add a Thai Yoga assist in class if appropriate or put together a simple one-on-one session of basic Thai Yoga Therapy techniques.
